I think the whole "illegals thing" is very simular to this board.

Here we welcome fans from other schools; we like them even better if the "contribute" but if they behave themselves we like them all.

Now even in our user agreement it states (not exact) "this is an LSU board LSU fans will be tolerated more then fans from other schools"

why do we do this? because we are inviting you to enjoy what we offer here but you will NOT overrun us nor will you change us in anyway.

And if you contribute you may have the same benefits as an LSU fan contributer.

If you "flame" our team and it gets out of control you are booted (departed)!

    This to me makes sense!

Now of course this is a scenerio that has a few holes but come on you have to agree if we ran the country like this board is run things might be a little more in "place".

We do have a free immigration policy. Somewhere between 12 to 20 million depending on what statistics you want to believe and the number grows everyday.

I find myself agreeing with SabanFan more than usual lately. Either I'm getting old and senile too or he's back on his meds, either way it scares me.

You're not getting senile, just older and wiser. The more young people realize that the experience of the older generation equates to wisdom, the better things will be. Even Red. Once he gets Bush and Company out of office, he'll be able to dispense his wisdom in a less frantic manner.

Along those lines, for all the mistakes this administration may have made, the motive was honorable, that is, the defense and security of America and it's people. I don't give a rat's ass about what other countries think of us, how much money is being spent or how many lazy sobs get pissed because the war is affecting their handouts. It's all about national defense and Bush placed that as his #1 priority. He has my thanks.

That was TwistedTiger agreeing with you, not me. Didn't take the meds this morning?:hihi:

I'm no longer in the younger generation. We probably agree on things more than we disagree ... except Brady.:thumb:

I agree that Bush's policy overseas has been honorably motivated although misguided. However his refusal to protect our borders, stop illegal immigration and enforce the laws of the country have been much less than honorably motivated.

    That I definitely agree with.

Only if a president is better. Right now, I don't see a single candidate that stands out. Less than 5 of the 20 or so candidates even appear to be made out of presidential timber.

Right now, for me, it's Mit. He's seen the light and come over to the good side.

Back to the what I thought was the original point of this thread. Have you begun to notice the collateral damage to your lawn from all those seeds that the birds waste? All sorts of weeds try to grow under\near a bird feeder.
