I bet Orgeron learned his lesson on 4th and 8 from the Florida 40

I like your aggressive attitude, but imo a lot things factor into the decision as to whether or not to go for it on 4th down. There's a reason I quoted the examples you cited. Look at the opponent. I suspect that perhaps the games were well in hand when we made the decision to go for it.

 

This whole thread makes me happy in the pants. As a semi old dude, I can't remember discussing the offense like we are now.
