Ricks wasn’t just getting beat, he was being abused! He had one great play (the interception), but for most if the game he looked slow an lacked effort. A huge disappointment considering that he was supposed to be the top db coming out if HS last year.

I expected him to be tentative, uncertain, and make slow decisions. However, even with those flaws, he STILL did enough that we should have won. Our defense was supposed to carry us as our new QB grew into his position. Instead our defense gave up 623 passing yards and 5 TDs. Instead of talking about that you want to focus on the QB who was never supposed to be "better than they ever looked last year".
