Im not trying to overreact to one game, but speaking of ‘21, Albeit he isn’t why we lost today, but if Brennan isn’t our guy for the future, let’s get Finely or Johnson some PT.
I’m not pissed. But for Moo U to come in with the air raid and put up over 600 yards of offense is highly disappointing. I had hoped that Brennan would have been more of a game changer type of player but he ain’t. I also hoped being behind Burrow would have been beneficial for him, doesn’t seem that way. Lastly last season some Folks wanted to give Ensminger more credit and this to me was proof that Joe Brady deserved the praise he received, Ensminger not as much. It’s 2020 and circumstances have hindered a lot of football. Everyone has dealt with adversity. I didn’t expect to see last season but being LSU football I thought we’d still see something better than today.
It’s the fact that our defense was absolutely owned by a shit Mississippi State team that stings like a bitch. I get that the sun shine’s on a dogs ass every now again, but we were completely outclassed in a record setting performance by a group of dudes that won’t sniff the NFL while we’re the defending National Champions.
I'm going to have a lot of fun watching this young team get better. But right now, they suck. Brennan is my biggest concern. He has a below average arm and poor athleticism.
