As my sister told my mom last night, "Now they'll (all the men in the family) be in a good mood until August!" I added, "We sign Joe McKnight, THEN I'll be happy till August!" J/k, I must admit when the game was starting and the video montages were playing, I got a little... misty/had an allergic reaction to the nachos. I was so proud that we were facing the "most storied program in college football" in the REAL grand-daddy of 'em all. The sky's the limit, and we're not slowing down!
Exactly, gotta give Miles credit. His Tigers always show up for the bowl games and live up to the billing. Look at the scores from the last 2 bowl games. The media can talk about ND and the Hurricanes BUT it is LSU that showed up for the Peach Bowl and the Sugar Bowl and whipped some ass. Can I have an amen brother Tiger fans!
Its certainly a great time to be a LSU Tiger fan! I get a smile everytime I think about that whippin of ND last night. I also get that pride everytime I see the highlights on ESPN. Today on ATH and PTI they talked a lot about the game and more specifically Russell. Great times indeed!:geauxtige
I'm actually kinda glad in a way that Saban took the BAMA job. I'm tired of defending Miles to people around BR who know nothing about football. He is everything that the Sabanator isn't and that's what I love about him. A real class act that Miles. Thanks Les for being a drama-free, nice, caring, loyal and most of all REALLY GOOD HEAD FOOTBALL COACH!!!
I have no idea if he actually reads any that are sent but here is whats listed at lsusports.net as Coach Miles' e-mail address [email protected] , I'm sure he would appreciate some support and congrats. Jean, you can just copy and paste your post !!!
I forgot to add that : I like the way that Coach Miles wears his hat. The kids don't wear their hats this way anymore, but, one day, the "Coach Miles look" will be back in style.
That's one of my pet peeves, they not only wear it turned and don't take out the tag but kids actually wear them to the funeral home too. I first saw this when a student was killed in an automobile accident and when it's another student they wear CAPS????
