The only smokescreen is you claiming the rich are not job creators. red55 said: ↑ “Businesses and government create jobs. Not rich individuals.
First you said... Yes you are. There is a big arm of the IRS that will force you too, and they can take everything you own and throw you in jail if you don't. That is force. Then... Really? Then why do I have to write a check every year? What is that deduction out of my paycheck every two weeks? Why do I have to file quarterly estimates and write a check 4 times a year? I'm pretty sure the money is coming out of my bank account. and then.... But you said the money wasn't mine to begin with. The more you write about taxes, the less sense you make.
I've seen that argument before. When someone points a gun at you, technically you have a choice. You can do what they say or die. To anybody but leftists apparently, that is called force. You can pay taxes or you can leave the country. So nice to be given a choice. Oh hell yes it is. I worked for it. The government doesn't get a cent of it until I earn it. It's mine. I give it up to stay on the good side of the law. Incidentally, if taxes we owe isn't our money, then how can one say they've paid any taxes at all? You have to own money first to give it away, or have it stolen. When I say communist-level stuff, I'm talking about the kinds of arguments that Marx made and the dim views which communists have of private property. If the money I earn ultimately belongs to government, then on what basis can I say anything else I own belongs to me? It was all bought with the government's money. Moved farther to the right? On what? And if they've become more inflexible, I can understand their reasoning in the face of an ever-increasing communist slant to the democrats' message. When you start claiming that all money is the government's until it allows you to retain it, I can understand the hardening of the right's stance.
The sad part is people like Red think the government is actually helping them out. If the govt only took half of what I pay them I could hire 8 more people.
Why do you need to be forced to pay taxes? Taxes are an obligation of citizenship. You have an obligation to pay taxes. You aren't entitles to keep that, it belongs to the nation. The money is yours to begin with but the taxes you owe are the governments.
I told you already. They have hot dog stands too. But on a higher level, the owner of walmart. I think he has money...
People who don't want to pay taxes are freeloaders and anarchists. At which point it is the nation's money. Why don't you think you have an obligation to pay taxes to live in this country? Only the taxes you owe ultimately belongs to the government, not everything you own. It's not communism nor even close. It is democracy at work. Why do you object to paying your fair share? Republicans want something for nothing. On everything. This is common knowledge. It's why they are going to lose this election. Calling everyone that disagrees with them communists is an indication of the problem. It's what right wing fascists say. Ignorance of what constitutes communism is not my problem. And it makes you sound like a kook. Only nobody claimed that, you made it up. I said that the money you owe to the government is not yours anymore. Not all money.
Taxes are not an obligation of citizenship. Nearly half of us pay no taxes. No it belongs to me. I pay taxes because laws say I have to. If there were no laws I would not pay taxes, and neither would anyone. No the taxes I owe are also mine. The taxes I have paid are the governments. Bastards.
but would you really hire 8 people? if your business doesn't demand the assistance and/or expertise of 8 more people then there is no way you would hire them.
