    You guys are right.

Maybe I should offer to give those wonderful Auburn fans a footrub and a teddy-bear so that I can kiss and make up with them?

Hopefully, Georgia will take Auburn out of the hunt in Athens.

Georgia has not lost at home since 2001.

But I have to think that Auburn will have its hands full with Ole Miss next week first.

I think we all have our share of blowhards but I see no purpose in coming on someones else's board and picking a fight. If we formed our opinions of another school based on the coach, players, or fans each school would probably hate everyone else. If I formed my opinion of LSU fans based on a few bad asses I ran into during my recent visit to BR for the Aubuen game, I might not like LSU. But the vast majority of LSU folks were very nice and hospitable and I have been letting my Auburn friends know that.

    The important thing is.

The important thing is to get along in person when we meet face to face while tailgating or at a game.

I'm against treating visiting fans badly at LSU home games.

    Re: The important thing is.

As I have stated elsewhere, folks from Louisiana seem to be more cordial and hospitable than most folks in general, and LSU fans seem to follow that same tradition.

Perhaps it is because Louisiana has such a heritage of multiple cultures?

Whatever it is, I have never met an LSU fan that was out and out hateful or mean. I can't say the same for fans of a few other schools around the SEC. And I certainly can't say that about some of the Cubs fans who came into Atlanta for the NL division playoffs.
