Yeah but consider the resources Minnesota has. They play on turf  , they play in a dome   , they lack a traditional college atmosphere that even the rest of the Big Ten teams have

Mason could succeed in a place like LSU

Heck, get one of the guys from TT or Boise St, if we're gonna have to have the pain of getting another coach at least we would have to worry if they were going to put an exciting team on the field.

SabanFan's real name is Lyndon Baines Johnson.

PS WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? IF COACH NICK SABAN LEFT FOR THE NFL, THEN WE SHOULD HIRE HIS SON, NICHOLAS!!

Or better ywt, we should hire his wife!!

    But seriously....
I say we get Dave Wannstedt. He did a real good job at the Dolphins before this season when Ricky Williams walked out on him, and he also didn't haave a O-line which makes a big difference.

actually GX is totally correct. Mason has made a living off the weak and forever loses to better or equal competition. I'll get the numbers to show you. Its really skewed which says a lot about his coaching ability.

One guy I never liked but won a great percentage of games as an underdog or small favorite is rick neuheisel. Not recommending him here by any means.

I like petrino and contracts don't mean anything. Butch Davis cleaned up miami after erickson jetted for the NFL after turning it into the old Sooners of the 70's with switzer.

not sure who my top pick would be. davis is proven at least but there seems to be something special about petrino.

Never hire a big 10 coach now that saban is out of there. no freaking way.

what has dave wannstedt accomplished with all the resources given to him...before RW. he's prolly just a good assistant. or maybe he is better suited for college.

Hopefully this happens 5-6 years from now and I think WIll Muschamp is gonna make a hell of Head Coach one day. So I say him. Dooley is also gonna be a great HC, he needs a shot at a coordinator spot first.

    Today....I guess Davis.

how can you not like muschamp? he may become a good head coach but if born in another era he woulda been an even greater one. Im glad the players like him after he rocks them on the sideline. I want him in my foxhole, that's for sure.

Saban has credited Muschamp for a lot of the schemes, and praises him for his blitz packages. I really think he is gonna be GREAT.
