I say you are kidding because if a kid gives his verbal it means nothing about where he takes his visits.

The staff at Bama is feeling very good about him coming to Alabama....but right now, it's a fight between UF and UA with UA considered to be leading right now.

It has been well known for sometime that it was between Bama and Florida but I am not sure I agree that Bama is in the lead. Exactly where does that information come from? And RedElephants my brother's cousins sisters mothers dog does not count as a valid source. Tebow has just as good a shot starting at Florida as he does as Bama so? I am just trying to understand how Bama feels they have the "lead" in this thing. I am not trying to get under your skin, I just don;t get it.

His pastor, Dr. Vines, Coach Rader and Coach Ungerer. Coach U put it at 80/20 Bama just 2 weeks ago. He's the only player ever recruited specifically by Shula. Add to that his Dad was pretty ticked off at Meyer for running up Tim's cell bill for sending him so many text messages...it was to the tune of about 300 bucks.

The comment earlier in this thread about Tebow waiting on the check from Logan Young is simple BS. His father has been a missionary for years and it's not something that the family would even consider. He was at the UF game this last weekend but also was at 4 Bama games this year.

    Let me add this...

I do expect to hear from one of his best friends later on this afternoon...I'll add what I can at that point.

Tebow would be a great catch...but we need offensive lineman

I am sure that was a joke, not to mention I do not beleive that Logan will be writing too many checks right now. Isn't he in super bad health about to go to the big house? Even though that wouldn't stop his check writing hand...LOL

He's an old man, granted. But health wise I wouldn't call it bad. Struggling...yes. (If you want bad health just wait for Adams to come out) I don't think he'll spend a bit of time...quite frankly, he just has too much money.

BTW, if you didn't know this....his money came from his Dad...artifical coloring in food.

It will be interesting to see how it pans out. While a great catch for whatever school gets him, I agree that while I hate Bama more than any team on the planet, they are in more dire need of a OL than any team out there. All I hear about is Tebow, what has been the focus to fix the real problem?

The OL recruits this year are pretty good...but, OL-men take a few years to develop.

The problem, in my opinion, is the coach of the OL. He does well with a spread formation, but we don't run a spread. This "catch and hinge" technique simply doesn't work in the SEC. Hell, when he said "teams don't bull rush anymore" I almost fell out of my seat. That's what UT, LSU and AU used against us.

Since Shula calls the plays on the offense I can't seen him firing someone this early...even though Connelly has had 2 years with those playing. Staring center, Britt, didn't even start for UAB so part of the breakdown was in the C position. However, you can't discount the technique being taught. I've bitched about it for 2 years now...but all I do is fullfil the role of a booster.

    Let add this...

the offense hasn't been "tough." You could see it on the WR's routes, etc. However, you can't complain about a team being 5 deep in the RB position next season.

Nice chatting with you, I appreciate a good discussion without things being so overbearing. Hard to get that around here. Take it easy.
