Now that bama is coming off of probation LSU, AU, and the rest of the SEC should be ready to settle for whatever recruits bama does not want. We certainly also will not have a chance to compete with bama on the field. Do y'all just want to draw straws for second and third? http://tidefans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37138 Tuberville has an SEC championship and one SEC loss in two years because Alabama couldn't sign all of the kids who wanted to play for Alabama. Period. LSU also benefitted from the sanctions, as did Tennessee. Are you telling me that an Alabama program with all of those players wearing Crimson isn't beating LSU, Auburn and Tennessee like the stepchildren they've always been? Come on. Get a grip on reality.
Dave Rader, the OC at Bama is a great guy, but as far as getting placed in an offense that is best for him his best bet would be Florida over Bama.
thanks for the link dereck.most bama fans are delusional. how did lsu benifit? how has bamas recruiting been phenominal? half the kids they sign don't qualify. but whatever they will see shula isn't as good as they think when they continue to finish third in the west every year. but according to them we shouldn't even play the games because the outcome has been decided. All you need to do is look at OU this year to see what recruiting players that won't qualify will get u.
Did you say Bama fans are delusional? You should visit my hell being stuck with them here in Birmingham. 99% of these guys should be committed, they are just plain crazy.
bamers are an amazing lot. I do not discount that they have had recruiting challenges based upon scholarship restrictions. If our schools, however, are benefiting from their castoffs, one must question why they signed their current roster rather than the stars they passed on. Being the clairvoyant lot that they are, I am surprised that they have ever signed a bust. They must still be living in the past when they could buy, I mean sign, an unlimited number of players.
I doubt if we will be going after a QB this year. With so many senior linemen leaving, I suspect that is the area Miles will be focusing on.
JeffinBama, aren't they saying the same thing in John Parker Wilson? I mean Tebow, I mean whoever is possibly in the rotation at QB?
