Naw, we dodged it. Should get some tropical storm conditions later tonight, but that's it.
My dad is an old fart. He said it was bearing down on Cameron, but he's in Houston, being an old fart.

Back when i was in Houma, Katrina blew over a white willow along a canal on the back of my property. Rita blew it up right again. It healed and survived, continued growing.
TWC just said it is stronger than Rita but not as large. Smaller area, more destruction, more storm surge
