Yeah, I know, I called him a little while ago and told him to come to my house. I also told him to bring Jim Cantore with him. He is kinda cute:lol:
Here at home in Baton Rouge (Kenilworth) and we have some family from Slidell and New Orleans staying here with us. Feel bad for my brother. His New Orleans home right is across the street from the levee on the West Bank. He is on call at the hosptial in N.O. so he brought his pets with him. Turns out they evacuated all the patients but he is still required to be there for some odd reason. (I think the hospital he is at is Oshner)
Here in BR across Perkins from Kennilworth. Got my generator with a few buckets of gas. Hope this won't be that bad. A lot of prep went into this storm but I hope it disappoints.

Good luck everyone tomorrow... I am expecting to not hear from many of you for a few days, so I will keep everyone in my thoughts.
Kenny, I just got word that my family evacuated. I had no idea what had been going on since I haven't talked to them or heard anything from them in a few days. Also, Michel Claudet was just on Fox8 (watching at http://www.maroonspoon.com/wx/gustav.html) and said that Terrebonne has no known surge at this point thanks to the strong northerly winds blowing the water out rather than in. I hope that's great news for your house.
