I definitely don't like the way this storm is tracking. Even if it hits Texas, the price of gas will start going up again. In fact it already has.

The latest projections show a slight shift eastward.

Updated first post with latest projected track. Looks pretty bad. Hopefully it changes!

Image in first post of thread should stay up to date.

The problem with that is what Katrina has brought. PreKatrina it would be game on for sure no doubt.

But not anymore 300 miles South on Monday Morning puts landfall Tuesday night to wednesday morning.

Which means Evacs start 62 hours prior to landfall and contraflow starts 40 somthing hours prior.

SO evacs would start Saturday night and I dont see the state allowing opposing fans, most of which will be flying into a being evac city, to even come it just adds to the problem.

LSUSports.net is AT THIS TIME stating that no changes for the game are currently planned. They have a page set up that will monitor the storm and will show any updated information about the status of the game.

I hope this one turns away from its current path. I know South Louisiana doesn't need another storm. Good luck...and I hope you don't need it! :eek:ldskule:

Just got an e-mail that said there is no change in plans for the game yet. Of course this thing is still 5 days out so it's easy to say that now.
