I'll worry about that one when it becomes a threat. Right now it looks like it's most likely to go through Florida and then get into the Gulf. Once it's there, all bets are off, but right now Gustav is an immediate threat. One at a time, please
If you're south of Houma, I'm assuming your home floats. Here's a lighter take on the whole thing, from Michael Giordano of Gambit:
BTW, I trust you have all noticed my new avatar. I think it contains helpful advice for the next few days.
Thats one thing I miss. You ALWAYS knew it was getting bad for New Olreans when WWL would wake up Nash Roberts and drag him on stage. If you saw Nash on Channel 4 it meant get the **** out now! He was the only person the older folks in the city would trust.
Hilarious! Spaghetti?? Is that the scientific word for this model? Can someone please tell me who is GFDI?? That track is making a beeling for me. :cuss:
That's been the track that's been nailing Louisiana in every run up until today. Suddenly all the other tracks are pinpointing LA, and this one suddenly goes to Alabama. Strange.
you got that right. nash was old school. every other weather guy would be standing in front of a green screen and nash was standing in front of a "win lose or draw" easel with a sharpie.
