Surfs up. Where's my surfboard? http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/09/1...ves-as-it-barrels-towards-carolina-coast.html
We evacuated early this morning, just ahead of the first wind. Though we had heard horror stories on westward evacuation, we left at O dark 30 and didn’t see the first westbound car for 45 minutes. We are about 200 meters from the Neuse River, in New Bern (New Bern featured on Weather Channel today). Projections for 9 foot surge, this far inland. However, for about a block around our house shows dry. Wasn’t going to bet on that. Th problem is that our evacuation has taken us to near where storm will be on Sunday, but with our “ark’s worth” of pets, we had limited options. Next crisis will be getting back due to inland flooding. Geaux Tigers!
Best wishes and good luck, HR, sounds like you've got this covered, keep your powder dry. Geaux Tigers!
