Right on the mark. I noticed that too. Not that I didn't already know, but that one seemingly insignificant moment confirmed my worse fears about him as a coach.
Easy for me to say what? He's only coached 2 games, that's a fact, no? What's Auburn got to do with Miles coaching only 2 games?
I believe now is the time we see whether Les is the right coach. No matter what quality assistant coach Saban had, Saban had final control, imprinted what he believed in. Les needs to imprint HIS style of game on the team. If he is a quality coach, then this will happen, and the team will respond accordingly. Either this will be good enough, or not. I get the feeling he is getting caught up in the hype of having the "best" assistants in the college game. Maybe letting them call all the shots. I just as soon find out now what kind of coach we have. Better now than later
Yep, the question was AT HOME... I just hate it when a coach goes into the locker room up 21-0 and changes the second half plan... if you're up big time, play the game like your tied. If you think the game's over, put in the second string. But for God's sake... never quit attacking.
I haven't seen a turnaround like this involving an SEC team since FSU scored 28 points in the 4th quarter against Spurrier in 1995. Spurrier was leading 31-3 and ended up with a 31-31 tie.
It seems to me that Miles coached the whole game as if he had inferior talent. That may have been the case much of the time at OSU, but not at LSU. Sitting on it with two minutes left to try OT when Tenn had all of the momentum was inexcusable.
F this post too. That was the best play calling of the second half. You either get a good run to set up some plays or you give the ball back to Tenn with no time left. We did nothing all 2nd half, why force something now. We are a great team in OT and he was thinking dont give them the ball with 1 minute left at the 50. GREAT CALLING THERE.
