Saban has it good in BR. It's nothing but obvious. I know he knows this. That is why he hasn't made his decision. With these clowns out there everywhere, Saban should end this crap and just pull his name from consideration. I wouldn't want it. I'd tell all of them to go to hell.

You need to check yourself here. At the age of 43 Jimmy won a National championship and the UM team he left won 2 championships in the next 3 years, Nick was 52 when he won his NC. At the ages of 49 and 50 Jimmy won SB's and the team he built won another 2 years later, at those ages Nick hadn't won anything.

Jimmy was winning National Championships and SB's when Nick was cutting his coaching teeth. After all that is said I still hope that Nick becomes the Phins head coach. Either you're young or you're not paying attention to football outside of Baton Rouge.

And Nick will never be as sorry a human being as Jimmy Johnson !! I'm sure that ole JJ would never consider his family when a plum NFL job came up. Getting out of UM gave him the green light to ditch his wife when Jerrry Jones called.

You're probably right but coaches don't win National Championships/Super Bowls or go to the hall of fame because they're good family men. If you think your boy Nick isn't cutthroat ask the fans at Michigan State how he treated them.

The issue also is whether Jimmy "could hold Nick's jockstrap" based on the hardware he's won it clearly is evident he could. I'm sure Mother Theresa was a nice person when she was alive. Doesn't mean I want her coaching the Dolphins.

I agree. NS is a great college coach, but would be a long shot to be good at Miami. Too much control for someone away from the game for 10 yrs or so.
