Re: LSU vs USC - tougher schedule... thoughts?

NEB defense is a joke... USC should score 50 in this game.. they didn't do anything special tonight. Neb only tried to contest this game for about 6 mins.

Wide open receivers, HUGE holes... Neb isn't in the same league as USC...

My son coulda had 3 td's as a RB for USC... not that I would EVER let him considering siging for the enemy...

so you think the #1 and 2 teams in the poll(s) are necessarily the best two teams? especially given last year? no way

Herbstreit has got to be the head of the USC cult. It's simple this year. USC will have to lose to move out of number one.

to the point of the thread...i think its seen as a wash so far. lsu should get the edge because of two tough games instead of one for usc. however their road game is likely tougher than ours.

The way that Mushberger and the Herb is praising USC, doubt LSU stands a chance in this weeks AP poll. It's kinda sick. Pete Carrol must have an attachment somehow. :dis:

By the way, McKnight's first carry was a fumble.

USC's defense has already given up over 350 yards to Nebraska and the games not over yet. Sounds like a weakness to me.

I've seen it all, now Brent and Herb... "if USC found a way to stop Vince Young" "If they hadn't lost to UCLA" its really mind blowing. I've heard some bad bias before but this is kind of shocking. They are ready to declare them the greatest team ever after beating freaking NEB.... amazing.

Re: LSU vs USC - tougher schedule... thoughts?

lets see. ranked in order of difficulty

    LSU USC
    Virginia Tech at California push
    Florida at Nebraska LSU
    at Alabama at Oregon push
    South Carolina Oregon State LSU
    at Kentucky UCLA LSU
    Arkansas at Washington push
at Miss. State at Arizona State LSU
    Auburn at Notre Dame push
at Ole Miss Wash. St. LSU
    Louisiana Tech Arizona USC
    Middle Tenn. Stanford push
    at Tulane Idaho LSU
    5-1 LSU

this has changed a lot from preseason expectations, but this is where it stands now to me. i didnt penalize teams that lost only to lsu or usc (va tech, and neb).

auburn and ucla are probably better than they look

of course, with so many pushes, if you think differently on them it could be 6-5 usc

    OKLA. USC and LSU

How can they keep saying USC has a tougher schedule than us. USC has no Florida in their conference. Cal and Oregon are 2nd tier SEC teams. The rest are not good.

Oklahoma has a cakewalk. Big 12 is not good at all.
