Is it even more pathetic that one of those teams was only outscored 14-7 by an SEC school? I still cant believe that.
Re: .... Its very sad how pathetic most are. When USC beat UGA in 2000, I thought that they had won 5 Super Bowls......it was quite sad.
I know that. But after that game...it was just insane. People crowning themselves National Title contenders, SEC Champs, ext....just like insane.... And I dont mean insane as in the USC fans are awesome crazy fans. They suck.
There was a post on a message board some where(Sorry I can't remember the exact board) that claimed that an LSU fan was beating up an opponents fan outside the stadium and an LSU police officer was standing there laughing at the guy getting beat up. There are so many rumors of bad behavior going on in Tiger Stadium (Batteries being thrown, bottles flying from the stands, fights breaking out between opposing fans, 10 year old kids giving people the finger and yelling obscene language and so on and so forth). This crap has to stop (the rumors that is). Sure there are probably fights that happen in the stadium but come on if you really had a knife pulled on you while attending a game at our stadium at least you could have alerted the proper authorties. Don't wait until a year later and start babbling shit like "those drunken LSU coonasses, all they do is get drunk and pick fights." I know for a fact that 99.9% of the nasty rumors that are going around about Tiger Stadium are just that, rumors. Last season there was a problem with things being thrown in I think the Noth Endzone(Not at the visiting teams fans)and action was taken. Skip found out and relased a statement about the problem and measure were taken to correct the problem.
Yeah, I can remember my freshman year whenever LSU scored a touchdown a ton of cups would get thrown and land on the students sitting lower down. However, when Skip took over there were cameras installed to watch for cup-throwers and more marshalls/sheriffs added. The past two years cups haven't been thrown as much (if at all).
I'm guessing if he saw Archie WHO, it was more than "a couple years back".... Yeah, my dad was at that game as well. He told me the stories. He knew the guy that pulled the knife out on the Ole Miss fan in the bathroom. My dad gave him a "high five" for doing it and then locked himself in a bathroom stall with an Ole Miss player's girlfriend and rapped her...Tiger Stadium was blood-soaked that night. With Ole Miss blood on the field, and Rebel fans' body parts in the stands....The horror of it all. Sheesh! What a mook!:dis:
I remember that. I remember as soon as we scored a TD I always ducked in anticipation of a cup or something to come hurling down.
I remember that as well!!! Ahhhhh <*sigh*>, the good-ole days... I used to think it was a riot! I used to love it! --not getting hit with a cup, but getting doused with alcohol was kinda cool
