First, it seems that we really love the word jackass on this board.
I certaintly appreciate TexasTigers right to think what he wants to think, and say what he wants to say.
You think Clinton is a jackass because he has been in the public spotlight for almost 15 years, so you have certaintly had time to form an opinion about him.
You think Clarret is a jackass and should be kicked off the team because of 3 quotes you read on the internet, which were
[sic] "I want to play defense next year"
"The school didn't let me go to the funeral of a close friend, I felt that they gave me the runaround, and they made me look like an idiot; I have no love for Ohio State right now, I'm just playing for my TEAMATES AND MY COACHES"
In response to a question about the afterparties
"That's not important to me, I just want to go home."
Now to me, there is absolutly nothing in these quotes that would cause me to critizise the kid, but it caused you to call him overshitheaded and to want him kicked off the team.
So we are obviously very different thinking people.
For instance, I would be willing to bet everything I have ever owned that you think Allen Iverson is overshitheaded(your words). I, on the other hand, like him, and think he is treated unfairly by the media.
By the way, I should clarify, I really don't think you are a jackass. I think your thoughts on this matter are overshitheaded(I love this, can I use it?)
I just think in the quotes you listed, there is no reason to think he's a jackass, and if he were at LSU, you wouldn't want him kicked off the team.
If Michael clayton said he wanted to play defense and offense next year, you'd probably call him a hardnosed football player who is a real man, not an arrogant bastard.
If Bradie James had said after the peach bowl(his parents had just died, obviosly not a great comparison to a close friend, but it's better than nothing) that he didn't want to party, and he just wanted to go home, you would respect that.
I feel better now.
Love ya TexasTigers
