We all want national championships, and Saban is a machine that pumps them out (i think he's the 1st coach in SEC history to win 3 NCs in 4 years and already #2 all-time in SEC history behind the Bear in most NCs won)

He makes $5.6 million a year...how about we pay him $25 million a year under a 4 or 5 year contract to start?

It would be worth it to see the gumps head explode.

Why would the little dictator leave? He wants to break Bear Bryant's record which he could do in the next 5-6 years. He makes more than he would ever spend and has a factory set up in Bama with top 3 recruiting classes year after year. No way could we get him back in Baton Rouge. It's hard to admit but he is the best coach (certainly not the best person) in college and #2 Urban Meyer is a distant second.

We had him and couldn't hold on.

" Among the recent accomplishments of the
TAF is the $110 million renovation to Tiger
Stadium, which included the replacement of
the west upper deck, the replacement of the
chair back seats and the renovation of the
east upper deck. In addition, TAF raised
over $18 million to construct the Cox
    Communications Academic Center for
    Student-Athletes, $3 million to construct a
state-of-the-art habitat for Mike the Tiger,
and $19 million for the new LSU Football
Operations Center. TAF continues to raise
funds to projects such as the new Alex Box
Stadium and Tiger Park along with the
    Foundation of Champions Scholarship
    Endowment Program."

In many ways the Saban today is different than the one at LSU. He is a better coach in every way. Going through the crucible at Miami tempered him. At LSU college was a waystation to the pros and his ambition was to be another than Belichek.
Now I think he realizes his place is in college and he isapplying the lessons he has learned along the way.
As much of a prick as he is you have to give him credit for what he has done.

Through no fault of LSU's. The NFL was contantly calling and that's where he wanted to go. Who knew he'd end up at Alabama two years later...

I've said it before, I'll say it again, LSU made Nick Saban, every championship he has he owes a little piece of it to us for making him the coach he is today.

Saban is not a great coach , he is a smart man , he took a team that Mike Shula started . Mike lost 2 games the last year at bama , it was not good enough he needed 4 or 5 players that Saban was able to get becuase of Mike's work. With the easy Schedule they have next season , they will not repeat as SEC Champs . Now a question for you the Tiger fans . Will we have players next season that are team players or like this season players who would rather be cool?
Should we rename the BCSCG to the SECU 101 ? Subject: This is how they play football in the South . There are 5 teams in the
SEC this season that would have beat ND tonight . Bama , LSU ,TEXAS A&M, Georga, Flordia , and Vandy , one more S. Carolina This game did nothing for me , except it proves . That BUBBA FOOTBALL is tough and if you are going to play a BUBBA team , you better play BIG MAN Football. I wish ESPN had of asked Myers why he left the SEC .
There was no comeback in ND tonight . Don't you think the ND coach would love to change next seasons schedule with Vandy to see how good his team really is ??
