I meant that I was looking forward to the game. I've slept in Auburn before. Didn't see much, but I did get there late and went straight to bed and left early in the morning.
I'm not going to badmouth the city. I hate when people do that to Louisiana (and most haven't even been here.)

I have been to College Station before and thought that area was country and full of hicks but I went to the Auburn game two years ago and that place is even worse. There were cows in the middle of campus and they have a corn maze, also in the campus. This has to be the worst place ever to overtake College Station as most hick place.

for one thing there arn't any cows on auburns campus. there is hardly any now. they are building building s everywhere. Im a studnet there and u gotta be out far out to find cows these days there. Auburn is actually one of the fastest growing areas in the state right now. Bars are opening up in new places and its gettin more populated. i dunno what u guys have been smokin but Auburn is a beautiful college town and all the campus buildings are red brick. Also, ATL is only about an hour and half from auburn. Its 6 hours from baton rouge cause we drove there last year. Just trying to help yall out.

Auburn is actually quite nice, much nicer than College Station and there is a lot to do if you are staying over night. Don't drink and drive if you are staying overnight, the LA plates will give you away. It is about 5/12-6 hours from New Orleans and 1 1/2 hours from Atlanta, I live in Atlanta and pass Auburn everytime I go that way back home. Shouldn't knock the "hick" towns. Most major universities are in these type towns and the city of Baton Rouge isn't exactly heaven on earth.

As to how far it is from BR........you will come thru Montgomery then take I-85 to Auburn. From BR it is about a 4 1/2 hour drive.
