Probably wouldn't have made much difference. The passing game was fairly good with Mett and Landry while the run blocking was lacking.

Yeah but coming into this game Jeremy Hill was LSU's best player, he proved that on the field. Mett had flashes of being the best but only a few. We had no idea what ZM was gonna look like. Right now, the chemistry between Landry OBJ and Mett is undeniable.

So in a sense Les did bench his best player to date, it just turns out he has been dethroned by what appears to be a pretty f'n awesome qb.

I'm just trying to give some credit where it's due. If it was Bama, Saban would have had his best defensive player out there against us. If it was Urban Meyer, same thing. Not many teams would have sat their best defensive player against us.

So, a little credit to him even though I think he's a raging douchecanoe.

Whenever a bag is not big enough to hold ones doucheyness, you must upgrade the size. Doucheyacht would sound bigger, but it just doesn't roll off the tongue the way douchecanoe does.

When he kicks his 5 star QB and Heisman candidate DB off the team, then you can talk about Patterson's credibility.

Well, we desperately needed him in the last game, but... not getting into this pissing match again. That horse is not only dead, it's decayed and turned to dust.

JJ will forever hold a spot in my WTF I WISH YOU NEVER CAME BACK box. But to think Lee would have changed that game is a crazy thought to me. It's best for the legacy of Lee that he stayed benched and people can remember him as he could have came in and changed things.

Well, Patterson changed QBs last night and it was a different game after that. I thought he should have stuck w/Boykin, or whatever his name was. They were a different, and successful, offense when he was in there. Not sure JLee would have had that effect, but changing things up couldn't have hurt the outcome of that game back then. Water under the bridge at this point. I just wanted to point out how a change in QB for TCU had a significant impact on the game last night. If Pachal stays in, we run away w/that game, and the final is like 45-13. It was a good move for them.
