First off, I like your faith in the SEC brethren, but I just can't see the Piggies with Robert Johnson (waaahh won waaah waahh) knocking off USC. Like it or not, the Trojans are loaded and they're head and shoulders above everyone else in the Pac 10 as far as talent is concerned. The Pac 10 is weak - Cal and Arizona State pose only a limited threat to USC and maybe Oregon who occasionally pulls a big upset. Let's put it into perspective - USC has the Heisman Trophy winner in Matt Lienart returning and you'd think he'd be a strong candidate to repeat. But many pundits believe he won't repeat as the winner because of teammates Reggie Bush and LenDale White, especially Bush. Sorry fellas, but with no conference championship game, the only time I see the Trojans losing is in the NC title game.
I saw them losing one game last year too, the only real game on their schedule. But they were able to get up for that one opponent(Oklahoma). I really don't see much change in their schedule this year so some team from a real conference will have one more big game to play while USC will be playing their first and only. As much as I hate USC I can't think of any other team I'd rather play right now, if it's for all the marbles so much the better. LSU has a long way to go in a tougher than hell conference with a conference championship game to boot but I would love to be the team to kill that 3 peat $h!t especially since they haven't even repeated yet!!!!!!!! :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: I voted zero because the national championship game is actually played in 2006 and that's when they will lose. :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:
Last year USC had the schedule set up for them just like we did in 2003 and again this year. Then they went and scheduled that BCA game and damn near threw a big monkey wrench into their spokes. This year they have their hardest games on the road vs Cal, ASU, Notre Dame. I think they lose at least one of those and then lose their bowl game due to a let down.
i know coulda woulda shoulda doesnt count for wins or losses but watching many of their games last year...starting with Va tech who imploded and the Cal game namely, USC lived on the edge quite a bit. now losing the ram, ogeron and of course puppy chow, I think you see those 2 close ones end up being losses. I'd say at least one and likely 2. im not gonna say who and jinx it.
