How many Championships does Alabama have?

Less and less ... as the people who swear they knew Bear and therefore actually care have been dropping like flies.

 

Whatever the total is, be sure to subtract one since only a total puss would claim the 1973 "title" that Notre Dame fairly and squarely won on the field.

what championships were contested... or shared... like USC and LSU in 2003... (as much as I HATE to say that)

 

quite a few were shared.

 

The number was 12, but the Bama archeology majors uncovered another 5 at a dig site bringing the total number to 17.

I had always heard that we won ALL of them.

 

They claim 12................

My room-mate is a Bama fan and I think every shirt,cup,hat,key tag,
sticker,helmet,hell everything that says Bama claims 12 titles.
