One of the more surprising stats in that article to me was "LSU plays of 20 yards or greater allowed" was a total of 19, good for #4 in the nation, while Bama has allowed 28 plays of 20 yards or more, #42 in nation. That surprises me that we have only given up 19 of those type plays. Seems like every 3rd and long, the opponent gets 20+ yards against us. The opposite is that we have had 40 plays of 20 yards or more, and Bama 33.
That is kind of shocking, maybe it's just because most of ours given up went for touchdowns, at least it feels that way.

Pretty much a toss up. Bama played Georgia and Ole Miss. Georgia ranked in one poll. LSU with Moo U and Florida. Slight edge to LSU in the SEC games. Bama played Wisconsin while LSU played Syracuse. Edge to Bama.
Hard to believe we beat Auburn and that doesn't get mentioned. Not saying it should, just find it funny. Even though they're 4-3, they had some close losses. Can't sell those potatoes at market but just talking tween all us and trying to be objective. Maybe the funniest thing is that had Bama beat Auburn, that would be a better win for them. At least in my opnion. I say that due to the hatred and rivalry status that game has.
