You DO realize we have like 3 cupcakes and Florida and South Carolina leading up to that game right? Pretty sure the passing game is gonna be humming by then. However, that 4 game slid of Bama, Ole Miss, Arky, and A&M is gonna be tough.
5 turnovers by Bama, or 5 takeaways by OM however you look at it, a fluke play, and that ridiculous play offensive linemen don't get penalized for being downfield and Bama still had a chance to win in the end.
With the way Fournette was running, yesterday could easily have been a game where we threw it 12 or even less. But we threw it 17, with Harris running on at least 3 pass plays. 20 to 25 is where this offense, with this running game, will probably work best.
Im not sure a 30 throw game will ever happen, and I'm not sure we need to see one. I think LSU can run the ball on Ole Miss, Henry was gashing them all night, and I don't think Ole Miss has the O line LSU does, so I think LSU should be able to run on Alabama. However in that Bama game, LSU will need to be able to throw the football.
Still beat Bama at their house, it's a big deal any ay you break it down. Old miss will be hard to beat.
Ole Miss will be a challenge, but I am still more worried about Bama. By the time we get to Nov, they will have fixed their issues and they will be tough. I expect Ole Miss to be exposed before we meet them. This was a great result for LSU, the more upset wins in our side of the conference, the better chance of us getting in the SECC if we happen to lose a game.
