1. Well if he knew for sure Black would be back, he wouldn't question the O-line as much and probably have us in his top 10.

    Definitely a fair assessment.
  2. I'd say # 10.

JJ and RS put a whole new light on next year and bringing in John Chavis puts us back in the top 3 defensively in the SEC. 2009 looks a whole lot better than 2008.

  3. Knockin on the top ten door seems like a pretty reasonable ranking given the QB situation and new DC/system...:thumb:

  4. Mark May lists LSU at #5.

Looks like LSU will be in the top 10 for sure, and maybe as high as 5.

Usually the pundits aren't very far off.
  5. When do the official Slidell rankings come out?
  6. #14. The world has not seen enough of JJ to depend on him, less so of Shepard. D-line to replace, although Alem looks good at end, so we got at least one slot taken IMO.
  7. They take their lead from Des Moines, so we'll have to wait...
  8. Slidell comes in at # 17.... Jefferson will have to prove himself for a season. We lose all the starters on the DLine...may not matter, we will see.
