Lavar Edwards is being moved to DT, this will give a better chance for some of the DE to get more playing time. Brick has done a good job with the DT, this should continue. True August is the time when players step up.

Pep played in the 260's, Drake was right at 290 and Sam Montgomery was in the 240's. We were light last year and still won 11 games.

With Chief running this show, LB's are not one of my worries. In many/most sets, we only use 2 LB'ers.

Pep got up to about 280 when he moved to DT.

Pep was 273#'s. Listed right at 6'4" with 4.99 speed. Called my Draft guy to confirm.

You have a draft guy? My info on his weight was based on the LSU roster, which means it's probably wrong. However, he weighed in at the combine at 292. I don't know what his playing weight was during the season.

294 according to the roster, so who knows

I think we are big enough and have players with quickness which is how Chavis seems to like them.

Possibly but with no proven dominant man up front it's a reach to assume we will be. Especially with unproven lbs behind them.

Youth is what concerns me against a veteran offense. If you have a smart and experienced offense they could really fool a young defense. In Chavis we trust, hopefully we pay attention in film study.
