I hope LSU is focusing more on Ole Miss than we are (and I'm sure they are).

I wouldn't doubt it if Ole Miss gives us some trouble. They've played well against Georgia, Alabama, and Auburn this year.

Pigboy, you are not only rude but reeeeeeeally stupid.

    Southeastern Conference statistics

    Total Offense -- LSU #1, Arkansas #2
    Scoring Offense -- LSU #1, Arkansas #2
    Passing Offense -- LSU #1, Arkansas #11
Passing Efficiency --LSU #1, Arkansas #6
    Rushing Offense -- LSU #2, Arkansas #1

    Total Defense -- LSU #1, Arkansas #6
    Scoring Defense -- LSU #1, Arkansas #4
    Passing defense -- LSU #1, Arkansas #7
Pass Efficiency defense -- LSU #1, Arkansas #3
    Rushing Defense -- LSU #1, Arkansas #4

    Turnover Margin -- LSU #5, Arkansas #11
    Sacks -- LSU #1, Arkansas #2
    Interceptions -- LSU #6, Arkansas #10

Arkansas has got nothing but rushing offense over LSU. Can you say "9-in-the-box"? Think your SEC #11 passing offense can win it for you against the #2 defense in the country. You're going to find out.

Yeah, but is this how we've both faired against SEC competition or just overall SEC stats? I believe our defense has played pretty well against the SEC (Auburn and Florida mostly), but our offense hasn't been too hot.

Whereas, Ark has looked good all around.

I just want to thank all of you LSU fans for giving us respect and not just trashing us just to trash us. All of us Hog fans are very excited about the game against you and understand this is going to be our most difficult game of the season. I hope its a good one!!! Go Hogs!!

First off, welcome to the board.

I still believe that we should be undefeated, but because of bad coaching and bad officiating we have two losses. However, the only game that bothered me all season, starting from the end of last season, is the game against Ark. You guys are the only team I could see us losing to, but now, we have to win this one.

    Good luck, but GEAUX TIGERS!!!

Did you actually watch the Tenn game? The Hoggies dismantled them on the ground AND in the air. I think our defense had better realize this. Head to head pound for pound we're better but they do worry me.

What are you talking about? The LSU offense against Auburn put up 311 yards to their 182. We lost that one because we don't have a 50-yard field goal kicker and poor clock management on the last drive.

At Florida, the offense posted 318 yards against Florida's 288. We lost that one because of 5 turnovers, especially 2 special teams turnovers which led to scores.

Uhhh, Arkansas can't pass, amigo. They are horrible throwing the ball. If they get behind by three scores . . . they've had it. Their pass defense is in the lower tier of the SEC, too. They can't stop us from scoring.

Seems like UT had a green QB didn't they? Just because he played well off the bench against us doesn't mean he was the savior. Out defense will be OK in the passing game. The run game will be the key. If our D can limit Arkys run game, no way to shut it down, then we have it won. Also our offense won't be the problem. I look for Russell and company to light 'em up.

Turnovers will be the deciding factor. We need to be on the plus side to win.

166 passing yards counts as "dismantled them...in the air"?---did YOU watch the Tenn game?

    lsu passed for 247.
thats no big deal, but realize that lsu can now run the ball. while the AMAZING ark running game got a healthy 6.2 yd/rush, LSU got 5.8.

chin up, there is reason to be optomistic
