I felt so bad for the kid. I was so happy that we had won but good grief it was hard not to feel horrible.

I was shocked that the kid drilled the long FG and then couldnt make something so simple.

Oregon St. has been full of thugs for years with Dennis starting the trend.

every football team i played for just stuck a fat guy back there kicking straight footed.. we had a guy that could kick it 40 yards that way.. he was money on xp..

You win as a team and you lose as a team. Players don't have to hold the kicker back when the QB throws a stupid interception to lose the game or the safeties let a receiver get behind them when the game is in the bag

Actually, the way I remember it, OSU got penalized 5 yds for delay of game after their 2nd TD because the stupid kid that caught the TD pass refused
to give the official the ball. That 5 yds would have made the difference between Serna making or missing the XP (and thus, the game), yet I haven't heard about anybody going after that WR.

Oregon State has issues. They have players who are thugs. One guy died on the freeway out here this year getting into a gun battle on the 5 in Portland (he was from the Bay Area, so he thought he was an expert at blowing people away on the road). Next, some Oregon dude is in the Guard and he is on home leave from Iraq. He's white and his wife is black. He's out and about in Corvallis when some OSU black football players acost him and flip him crap. They end up knocking his ass out because he was with this black woman. Didn't matter that it was his wife. No criminal charges have been filed, no hate crime charges (although it would have happened if it had been white guys attacking a black person), and the school just re-instated the offending players with no punishment. Turns out Riley didn't want to deprive these guys of their scholarships. Geez, what a stand-up guy. OSU is a ridiculous program when it comes to football. I don't like them.
