Red do you think the info he is given and acts on is 100% correct? What about the families of the ones targeted who are also killed, is killing them ok? Is it just the whim of Mars that they die as well or are the tainted by their father's actions? Sort of old testement "son of the father" deal isn't it?
A question does Kahlid Shiek Mohammad and the other captives at Guantanemo deserve a trial or should we just put a good old .45 behind his ear (and the others) and pull the trigger? What would you say if one day any president announced that that had been done?

BTW is just calling for the damnation and fall of the US qualify for voiding one's citizenship? As I remember my civics classes a natural born citizan holds his citizenship until assuming another country's. When a citizen takes arms against the US he still holds it till it is stripped in court or by acts of congress. Look to Aaron Burr and Jeff Davis and RE Lee. All the other soldiers in the civil war retained their citizenship. Likewise the few Germans in WW1 & 2 who supported the Germans were tried as citizens. You state your point above with such conviction, are you a constitutional lawyer?

Finally would you give the same latitude to say president Palin?

Red you are so gung ho but have you given the concequences much thought?

You Fox News fan boys talking about hypocrisy is a riot. Had Bush ordered the killing of American-born Al Qaeda affiliate named Anwar al-Awlaki, you think Fox News and would be bending over backwards to trash Bush about it like they do Obama?

    http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/05/u...ls-views-on-killing-citizens-in-al-qaeda.html

Of course not, that's because Fox News is a bunch of hypocrites, but you already knew that, unless you actual believe they aren't lying to your face by telling you they are "fair and balanced"

As for liberal press, you have seriously, totally, and completely lost your mind if you think ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN are the left-wing equivalents of Fox News...that would be www. democracynow .org/ and the like

The fact that you don't know this makes you look like a lunatic, and if you want the next generation, our kids, to be Republicans, you might want to try quit acting like a lunatic. But, it's probably too late, Fox News has done such a great job making Republicans look like lunatics that the GOP is now a shell of its former self (ironic being that Fox News is run by a non-American)

First, the executive branch is just arguing that they have the right to kill American-born people abroad, but the final say on that is up to the judicial branch...the US Courts (ultimately the US Supreme Court)

Second, your OP makes it sound like you don't realize the executive branch is only arguing that they can only kill American-born people who are Al Qaeda operatives who pose “an imminent threat of violent attack against the United States” and if his capture is not feasible

    WASHINGTON — Obama administration
lawyers have asserted that it would be
lawful to kill a United States citizen if “an
    informed, high-level official” of the
government decided that the target was an Al Qaeda operative who posed “an
imminent threat of violent attack against
the United States” and if his capture was
not feasible, according to a 16-page
    document made public on Monday.

What's next...it goes before the US Courts and they decide. I don't think Al Qaeda operatives who pose “an imminent threat of violent attack against the United States” are going to get a lot of sympathy from most...but you'd have to prove that's what they are

Fan They aren't just arguing, they are killing people. If the supremes say it is illegal should pres Obama and the subordinates be impeached or charged with murder (remember Nuremburg & Hitler's generals)?

Second if you read the whole article you would have seen that the standards set for" imminent violent threat" & "capture not feasible" are so vague as to be meaningless. Also there is no procedure or order of escalation to follow. It is in effect an action taken on a whim.

This from an article in the NY Times & the Washington Post not by Fox. Ron Wyden D senator from Washington (+& other D senators & 3 Rs) and the ACLU are questioning this seriously as well. SO DON"T BLAST THIS AS A RIGHT WING ANTI OBAMA RANT. It is a concerned position taken by many across the political spectrum from left to right.

Red said "If you "speak out" with terror bombing of Americans, then you had better dig a deep hole and get far away from your family, Raghead, because you have relinquished your citizenship and become and taken up arms against the United States."

Then why arent bill ayers and rev. Wright, the New black panthers and Louise Farrakhan dead? Bill ayers has already attacked the US but his ass isn't smoking in pieces somewhere.
And as for Egypt. We don't need to be giving them jets, tanks or a billion dollars a year. I can't believe the idiots in Washington haven't already figured out that you can't buy them crazy fuckers friendship. All we are doing is paying for training and weapons so they can kill more Americans.

The men that died in Benghazi were trying to save the ambassodor. They were calling for backup and Obama and Hillary were not heard from for 8 hrs. Even though they knew what was going on. And why was General Carter Ham and Rear Adm Charles Gaouette relieved of their commands?
