And we're cutting back our military. Wtf are we arming egypts for? Those jets and tanks should stay here.
How about quadrupling the size of the force and implementing General Petraeus strategy for counter-insurgency warfare. This involved getting the troops out of their stronghold bases and out into the villages where the enemy operates. No point in them being there if they are not being agreesively utilized the best way we know how.
I've already explained this at least three times, if you can't get it by now, I give up. Look, as simply as I can state it . . . 1. It helps us influence and control the Egyptian military, who is the only preeminent player in Egypt. 2. It keeps US factories open and producing military equipment. They could get it from France, Russia, China, Sweden or France if they wanted to. 3. We have thousands of M-1 tanks in storage. We have more than we need already. The F-16's that Egypt is getting are 1970's technology that we are replacing as rapidly as we can in our own military. Doing what we are doing is advantageous to us strategically, economically, politically, and practically. There are no downsides at all.
Good thing Barry stuck with bush's plan then. And according to Panetta, Barry and Hillary were Mia during the Benghazi attacks.
Then you you know nothing about US intelligence. Nothing. If you "speak out" with terror bombing of Americans, then you had better dig a deep hole and get far away from your family, Raghead, because you have relinquished your citizenship and become and taken up arms against the United States. "These fuckers" are us, We The People, you know. Julian Assange is not an American. He is a criminal and if America gets its hands on him, then he's going to Leavenworth prison for a very long time. People "speak out against the American war machine" all the time. America has no history of making military assaults on criminals. This is a paranoid fear. We have laws against executive assassinations and any US government official who orders one could end up in Leavenworth with Assange. We are going after Assange the way we always handle legal matters . . . we are trying to extradite him and are working with international law enforcement to get him to trial in American. We are going after AL Qaeda the way we handle military matters . . . we are trying to capture and kill them and fuck up their operation.
The ones killed were doing their jobs alright. Unfortunately for them it was in conflict with Hillary and Obamas schedules.
it's not hypocrisy. one is constitutional and one is not. does the drone program need a system of checks and balances to ensure it is not abused? sure. would our enemies and those who aspire to be our enemies love it if we abandoned the drone program? you betcha, we kill a shit ton of bad guys with those things.
Don't see the lie. The writer specifically said the statistics being reported were for Afghanistan. Not a lie, just a cherry-picking of the stats that support his agenda. Your defense of the media in this case should be that in the War on Terror, Afghanistan was always seen as The Good War and Iraq was The Bad War.
