well our hottest pitcher will have 2 weeks off now. oh wait he still might not pitch the opener. might try to sneak another win by with LSU LANE. and that will be the end of the season. should be an interesting decision. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm wonder what he will do.

I was in and out of the room while listening to the game (and even if I had been sitting at my computer the whole time I would remember today), so I didn't hear.....

Did LSU attempt to bunt at all today? How many were left stranded? I remember leaving ducks in one inning.

Well Weaver left a crap load on base. I guess we didn't think about a pinch hitter.

But the most important question in my post (IMHO) is did they attempt to bunt?

bunt...i don't think we know what that is. I guess we were trying to beat them 10 to 9 ....thats the kind of game if your going to win it was going to be low scoring playing small ball.

Since you are obviously feeling miserable, I will officially relieve you of your duties and obligations of being an LSU fan. I hope you feel better now and can quit being such a whiny little prick.

He's mad at LSU for ruining his day. The facts are irrelevant.

Well uh let's see that's 3 days rest and 4 days rest....ummmm I think he could've pitched. Oh and by the way, Tennessee went with their best hurler yesterday. Not putting your best arm on the mound in the post season is just poor baseball. And for those who think that pitching didn't lose these games you're wrong...playing catch up baseball has not been this teams strong suit at any time this season. Check losses to Centenary and Southern. Mestepey had the shortest outing of his career and ..that's pitching costing you ballgames. Yesterday's loss was a combo of pitching, poor defense and lack of offense. Same ole story they got behind early and again couldn't recover.
