How "crooked" are Louisiana politicians ?

Or Tennessee - for more info on my opinion google Operation Tennessee Waltz - rounded up a whole slew of those crooks for accepting bribes.

When I was a kid in Louisiana, I saw a bumper sticker which read, "I'm from Louisiana - my state has the best politicians money can buy." Probably could be one of those "fill in the blank" thingees. I have lived in several states, and IMO one is the same as the other. What can be done about it - nothing until the voters quit electing incumbents and/or their relatives.
