I can't find anything online, but my memory is that even Faulk was convinced, by others, that DB was his future. Look at what his former coach says about what would have happened had he played on defense. The stuff in print now about his desire to play RB does not match up well to what was going on at the time in his recruiting.
The coaching change occurred when Faulk was being recruited, as Archer was fired near the end of the 1990 season, leaving Curley little time before signing day. Not that it really mattered for Curley.:nope: He did bring in a "super" crop of running backs (4-5) as mentioned above, but none of them ever panned out.
I remember when Harvey was the cause for the 5 second delay in the post game show. Some guy called in and asked if it were true that Harvey got kneed in the pu$$y. :hihi:
FYI: Last time I saw Robert Davis he was a club boy at a golf course. As I recall he had a problem keeping his pants zipped up. :dis:
David Butler (also part of that '92 class of RB's) was a used car salesman in Houma for a while, but that didn't pan out. Not sure what he's doing now.
