(sigh) I just realized this very depressing fact, one that points out yet again how stupid this whole system is. Odds are, if we win out and Georgia wins out, we face UGA in a rematch in Atlanta. If we win that game, Washington State (which should win out, too) slides in front of Georgia and gets quality win points, whereas we get ZERO quality win points for beating a team TWICE in the same season...WHEN THAT TEAM WAS RANKED IN THE BCS TOP TEN AT THE TIME OF BOTH GAMES!!! (In such a scenario, it's projected Washington State finishes 9th, giving USC -.1 quality win boost with Georgia finishing outside the BCS top 10. A TCU loss may help, though...I dunno anymore.) In short, if either Ohio State OR Washington State win out, we're screwed, IMO, even if we slide to #2 in both polls. Insane.
