stevie wonder can see who called the plays in 2019. brady told E what to call and E relayed it to the field.....
Oh I forgot you were in the pressbox with E and Joe "The Magnificent" Brady. Did they let you suggest some "modern football" plays to call?
i didn't need to suggest plays in 2019, but i wish i had relayed a play or 2 when we had 1st down inside the 5 at mizzou and came away empty....
I disagree with just about everything you’ve said. No need to rehash though. If we can close Wednesday and beat OM I give O a lot of credit. Still want to see major changes on offense.
Don't know where you have been but E has been savaged mercilessly here especially by certain posters. I have taken it on myself to defend the man. To answer your question if Brady wanted back and O and E wanted him back yes I would be all for it. Maybe there is something else you forgot; it was O and E who asked him to join the staff in the first place so if nothing else some of the fools here should at least acknowledge that but they don't. What I object to mostly is that Brady has been given credit for everything we did in 2019 and maybe finding a cure for cancer. Sorry if you don't agree with me but E IS a good coordinator and has been as responsible for LSU's success as anyone.
Your inability to pick up nuance in a conversation is disturbing; it’s like clinical levels disturbing.
We just see things differently I guess. I don't care how we close Wed or if we beat OM I am backing both O and E till the end of the 2021 season. As far as changes on offense I hope nothing changes. What won the game for us in the the 4th quarter this weekend was the decision to not go "modern offense" on our last two drives. We ran the ball effectively enough and gave them only 26 seconds to win the game instead of 3 minutes. What I also liked is we got the second half kickoff and ran it down their throat mostly getting 3 points and kept the ball out of Track's hands so he couldn't burn our depleted and injured secondary. Miles may have needed to go but there are times when Miles ball is needed as I have stated here many time. Bama doesn't win just because they have Jones and Smith they win because they can pound your ass running too, same with Clemson.
20//20 vision is magnificent. There is no comparison from 2019 and 2020. Good coaches know if you don't have the players or more importantly the experienced players to execute plays you might want to run when you are on Mizzou's 5 yd line you don't run em. Give me a Burrow, a CEH, a Jefferson and a Chase and yes you run a play on the 5 yd line against Mizzou that can work. Coaches look at film and evaluate everything. SOME PLAYS WE RAN LAST YEAR WE JUST CAN'T RUN THIS YEAR! Want an example? OK The reason passes to our RB's in the flats doesn't work near as well this year is we don't have CEH to juke a DB or LB out of their jocks and take a play that may gain 2 yds to gaining 20 yds. That's my lesson for today.
