I will say I don’t and haven’t expected to perform at 2019 levels. We lost to MOOU and Mizzou. Ensminger has not put his players in the best position to win. He has not been creative in the running game (looked improved Saturday night). Curry and TJ have been overused. Passing game is lacking. I agree both sides of the ball have it rough this year, lots of things to overcome. But that doesn’t excuse everything.
They dont exist anymore. The RPO has taken hold in college and the best you can do is stymie the momentum and surpass it with your own. Even gnome king has capitualted to the new paradigm with notable success. Its a Big12 world now...
So 34pts = shutdown? Point is the days of holding quality opponents to 3pts for 60min are over. This doesnt count lil sisters of poor or perrenial conf dumpster fires.
AAAAAHHHHH Carolina Panthers are ranked 20th in the NFL for total offense in 2020 under your golden boy Brady. Curry has not been overused at all he has a nagging injury and would play more if he didn't. Curry was the starter before the injury. TJ was started because he did better in practice. Geeze do you know anything about what you are claiming?
To the E haters at TF here is a post from the Dandydon site Steve Ensminger has been the offensive coordinator and quarterback coach at LSU for three seasons. In that time, he worked with Joe Burrow who made a big leap from a very good quarterback in 2018 to quite possibly the best quarterback to ever play the game in 2019. We also saw a tremendous jump in Myles Brennan from last year to this season. (Remember, he was on a tear before suffering the injury.) And I think most would agree that Ensminger had LSU’s two current true freshmen quarterbacks — Max Johnson and TJ Finley — well prepared to be thrown into the fire unexpectedly. I’m sure there will be some who say Ensminger doesn’t deserve credit for any of those things, but I just don’t see anything to suggest that he has not done very well with quarterback development.
Check out about the :45 second mark and tell me that kick didn't clear the cross bar by at least 10 yards. https://twitter.com/SECNetwork/status/1337982608072990721?s=20
Is that meant to be some kind of 'gotcha' that he's not a good OC? If he were to come out and say he made a mistake leaving LSU and wanted his job back, you'd probably be the only one to dissent.
