I hate to agree with Joe Dean, but he was right when he said that further expansion of Tiger Stadium was impractical. The solution would involve building a new stadium out on RIver Road. The older parts of Tiger Stadium are approaching 80 years old. In about 20 years, you can expect to see a newer, bigger Tiger Stadium being constructed.

It was my understanding that the proposed enclosing of the upperdeck would be on the southend so that the south endzone would have a clear view of the state captiol and the bridge.

Why? I go to watch the game, not look at a bridge or capital building.
