If he would have gone to Nebraska can you even imagine the pressure he would have been under even worse than the pressure Les Miles is under!

At least from the outside, Callahan doesn't appear to be under that much pressure. Besides, at Nebraska, he's not following the guy considered a legend. Husker fans had the entire Solich tenure to get over Osbourne leaving.

He'll quote some of those statistics that throughout his career Arkansas has average x passing yards per game and had the top rushing offense for the last three years. I'm telling you he can sell himself. You've heard Schaeffer misconstrue the stats so that that would be in Nutt's favor, I know Sexton can do it. After that spiel he would then get a reference from some dillusional coach in the NFL like Saban that thinks he is a good coach and boom they're sold. Now, I don't think they will pay him $1.5MM. He would have to take a paycut so does he want out that badly? CU is having trouble coming up with the money to buy out Barnett at $1.8MM according to some rumors so they would not pay NUtt what he currently makes, or I wouldn't think they would. But If agreed to come for $1MM, he is about the biggest name they could get for $1MM. They will not get a Mariucci or Butch Davis or a Norm Chow for $1MM. They could get better coaches but not bigger names, IMO
