You read what you want to read NC. Many of us have outlined things we agree with Obama on. You just fail to see it. We don't have to agree on everything, but if you want to live in a 1 party system, move to China homey. You hate republicans so much, vote Democratic. That's your choice.
According to your definition of success maybe. I gave you 3 different opinions on the matter that support this methodology. Nonsense. YOU said you just wanted to debate but went to the personal comments rather quickly. Fine with me if that's what you're after but don't claim you were after good debate. And what the hell are "your own stupid policies"? Nothing I said was MY own policy and I am not a Republican or a Democrat so you can flush that argument along with your original pile of stinking shit. Ask red....my skin is thick enough and it was, in fact you, who went to the LCD first. That is not honest debate, kiddo. Hardly flailing kiddo. You made mistakes in explaining the budgetary process and I linked the info for you. And this, is really what most of your OP was about. Had you wanted serious debate on the topic it could have occurred. But you still think that the only economic and taxation issues in Washington are all on Republicans instead of the entitled, greedy, lying politicians on both sides. Once more time kiddo....I am not a Republican so you aren't rubbing anything other than your own fun button.
there is a vast difference between being narrow minded and being bad, Pride. In no way do I think you, or for that matter any of the others on here who disagree with me as instinctively as you scratch an itch, are bad. In fact I'm willing to bet most of the regulars on this forum are salt of the earth. That said, we have had some very pointed debates over many of these issues throughout the years and now we are beginning of having the luxury of seeing whose opinions were closer to being correct. further, I put it out there that the House Republicans had passed something that I obviously disagree with and I wanted some debate on the issue. I was interested to know if anyone would actually try to defend the change to the budgetary process. If you don't like the fact that I called the Republican party white and right, tough shit. Name a single instance where Republicans have actually reached out to minorities in the past 8 years? For all his faults GWB at least played to the hispanics and encouraged immigration reform. That said, the Republicans have done nothing to help this cause by never trying to pass immigration reform and, frankly, leaving that whole issue to Obama for him to claim a complete victory with what will end up being a ton of new voters and tax payers. On a purely political level I will never understand why the Republicans would not have played a more active role but they absolutely refused to do so. my daughter is african american. we adopted her as a baby. she is the absolute apple of my eye. I truly admire the fact that your love is color blind and I didn't mean to demean that earlier. That said, this should be all the reason more for you to want your party to be more inclusive to minorities.
My family includes Hispanics and Asians. None of them want or need any help or inclusivity amd the Asian side are all Republicans. It isn't always about race.
You might want to do a little more research. Tim Scott was appointed in 2011 and reelected last year. So a total of one to offset the Democrats total of two. There have been nine black Senators and four have been Republican. As for the House, Alan West lost in 2012 after redistricting put him into a more liberal area of Florida. The Democrats flushed a black Representative from Congress. There were more Hispanic Governors and Senators in the Republican Party than Democrats as well as two Governors of Indian descent as of the 2012 elections. The problem for minority Republicans is that minority Democrats can't see past the party line.
How so? All you have to do is produce evidence that blows it up! Otherwise all you have done is bailed out.
