Imagine where the economy could be right now if they hadn't blocked everything? Imagine if they could have allowed Boehner and Obama to strike a grand bargain to reform the tax code and entitlements? You are right, all they have done for the past 6 years is block every piece of constructive economic legislation presented. Instead they have tried to repeal Obamacare fifty something times.

Obama passed Obamacare....that has improved the economy. Obama enacted Immigration reform because the Republicans refused to do so and it will be a boon for the economy also. Obama raised taxes on the highest incomes to increase federal intakes and considerably lower the deficit. Obama helped to usher in financial reforms to prevent banks from taking advantage of the little guys like us. Should I go on?

Well, ever think some of the shit they blocked help improve things?

This is your game. You make a statement like "Obama bailed out the banks...." Then we call you on it and say no, Bush signed that legislation and then you deflect and say, "Oh, I didn't say that....."

Actually Bush administered the vast majority of it and the little that Obama did administer was with far better oversight over the banks that we were bailing out.
