I was of the belief it was going to be commonplace sometime after 9/11. i never understood how such committed idiots didnt do this once a month minimum for the exact reasons you state. except they must be cowards as a whole and hide except for the truly committed. thats the only explanation.

I hear ya, I mean it wasn't as bad as, for example, the Kenyan college massacre or Paris yesterday, where there are in the neighborhood of 150 killed

They’re heeeeeere! First load of 10,000 Syrian refugees has arrived in New Orleans, being resettled into 180 unsuspecting US communities
    The Hayride

After the Hayride broke the exclusive story on 10,000 Syrian refugees possibly resettling in Baton Rouge, Lafayette and Metairie, it has now come to light that refugees are already coming into the New Orleans area.
Catholic Charities, which receive federal grants from U.S. Department of State/Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration, have apparently taken in two Syrian refugee families already and are expecting many more.

There are approximately 180 cities in the country that are eligible to accept the 10,000 Syrian refugees. Here is the full list of those cities, which includes Baton Rouge, Matairie and Lafayette:

US Refugee Public Affiliate Directory by zerohedge

The 10,000 Syrian refugees are first flown to the United States, according to the French news wire Agence France-Presse, with the State Department paying the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for the airfare.

Then, once the refugees arrive in the country, they could be dispersed across the 180 cities listed above, where they are to aided within the first 30 to 90 days in settling and finding employment in the area.

After approximately 90 days, refugees are no longer eligible for the State Department-funded support that they were receiving through migrant and refugee services. However, they are able to join support programs through the Department of Health and Human Services.

Additionally, it is unclear how much the screening process for the 10,000 Syrian refugees will cost American taxpayers.

The State Department spent $1.1 billion resettling people from around the world in the country last year. That’s about $16,000 per person.

At least the families sponsored by CC are Christians that literally have nowhere else to go where their fellow countrymen don't want to behead them.

The Fench have named IS as the perpetrator of the attack....yet the president still has not. The French found a Syrian passport on one of the terrorist's bodies.
Rather than put blame on any western leader we need to demand strong action. Strong action isn't going in there and bombing them back to the Stone Age. They already are there. Strong action is withdrawing all western aid and support from ALL countries in the ME (including our so called allies) except Israel and telling them to solve their own problems. Strong action is enforcing a blockade of the region. Strong action is recognizing the Kurds and telling the Turks to put up or shut up.
I wasn't for accepting Syrian refugees here mostly because it shouldn't be our obligation to host them. We should deport the 10,000 who just arrived in New Orleans. The place to put a wall up is in the Middle East. Keeping the people there will force them to solve their own problem.
This is a time that the president needs to be a leader, face reality and in addition to FINALLY RECOGNIZING AND ADMITTING to the fact there is a problem with Islamic terrorism. He needs to lead a coalition to enforce an isolation of the Middle East. He needs to remove all Muslim Syrian refugees immediately. He needs to have all Muslim emmigrees since at least 2011 closely investigated and any with ties to fundamentalist groups deported.
Finally he must seal the borders to prevent infiltration of our country by these barbarians.
This is a game changer and requires a change in the way we approach the Middle East and radical Muslim action and support. The Saudis, Iranians and all other countries who support various terror groups cannot be exempted from the consequences of their actions anymore than the actual perpetrators. We must hold them as accountable.

Any man that targets women, children, and civilians with bullets and bombs is a coward. Suicide bombers are cowards who are afraid to fight their military opponents so they kill innocents. Terrorists are cowards, pure and simple.

Give me a break, have you forgotten 9/11 happened under Bush 43, 3000 killed? How about the Beirut bombings under Reagan, 240 Americans killed. Or the Lockerbie bombings under Reagan, 260 killed. Or the Invasion of Kuwait under Bush 41.

Obama has hammered the terrorists hard in seven countries for seven years. Have they hit us here with another big attack like that? No? Obama is not responsible for French security.
