We can start with anyone who proclaims a person must convert to Islam or die. Wahhabists and Salafists. It is this fundamental interpretation that is the root of all of this crap.

    Pretty much nobody says that.

Do refugees get green cards? What I read made it seem like anyone here legally (which may be the same thing as anyone with a green card).

Some people have emotions and when something bad happens, they are comforted to know that others sympathize and empathize with them. Of course it does nothing to thwart attacks but it is good for those affected on a mental and emotional level. I'm not sure what all the hate is about with showing support for the French. I lived for 4 months in Paris and have friends and family there so that's why I have changed my FB profile pic. I think these gestures show the good side of humanity.

I agree there are people who feel good about nonsense when white people are killed. I mean objectively the symbolic meaningless is nonsense. I don't mean from the standpoint of emotional children.

Yes they do, that's why they'll be democrats and that's why most dems are in support.

Dude my wife tells me that I'm dead on the inside and have no emotions but I'm pretty sure you have me beat. Kudos.

ISIS says that. The Taliban says it. They have both taken actions to prove their statements. After the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, attacks and killings of Coptic Christians took a spike. There is a general rise in Salafism across the Islam and the ones who will take an extreme hard line interpretation will say these things.

We are not fighting a couple of guys here and there that spread violence. We are fighting a movement within Islam. That movement is growing in every country.
