I'll have to try to look at it again, but live and the replay shown at the game clearly looked like goal tending. I had to slump down in my seat after that one.
He throws those passes on impulse but his impulses are what makes him so good at the things he does best. He has supreme confidence in his abilities and you would never want to take that confidence away. WW is doing a great job of handling Waters as he is the rest of the team. What I want to see is for Naz to own the paint. In the second half the offense ran through him but he was double teamed every time he touched the ball. He did a great job of passing back out to the right man but as athletic as he is he doesn't have an explosive first step to the basket that would make defenders look silly.
I just looked at the highlights. It sure appears to be on the way down. No matter as missed calls go both ways, but that one could have cost us.
Err, it sure looked like FU got equal or better dose of refs. I thought the block was rightly not called goaltending; not that it wasn’t close.
We looked pretty good with Smart running point those couple of games Waters was ill. It surely isn’t a coincidence that when Waters returns full time, turnovers return.
Yeah, I agree about Naz. As soon as he gets double teamed, he gets duck feet. Sometimes he passes out, but other times, his feet start fumbling, and he literally trips, falls, loses the ball and ultimately turns it over. Someone needs to take him in an alley and let him chase chickens like Rocky. Once he improves his foot work, he’ll be a beast.
