The obvious right? Both should return but I doubt if either will. Reid, the kid has the talent to play at the next level but in my opinion has not shown it yet. I saw a mock draft the other day and neither were projected to go in the first round. They weren't even talked about as snubs or "they could sneak in" which I think or maybe its more of an I hope means something to them. Naz is certainly an enigma because it sure seems as if he could play a whole lot harder. Is he holding back or is he just not ready? I wouldn't draft him if I were an NBA GM, not from what I've seen so far. Waters, the kid can just play. The only thing working against him is his size but his heart and talent can certainly make up for that and I'm afraid he is gone.
Agree on everything here. I'd love to see both of them come back but I doubt it too. We'll see what the scouts say when they get their evaluations. That tends to be where the rubber meets the road.
Naz shouldn't even be thinking about the NBA after this season. He needs another year of college ball. As far as Waters he is just about ready for the next level if he can eliminate a few poor decisions like the alley-oop to the Elevator Man vs R Kansas. He is not going to get any taller by hanging around.

Naz's graph started at the lowest point but it's rising quickly as he develops. It's like he never played basketball prior but is learning he's actually 7' 250 and not mugsy bogues. If he keeps improving and lsu makes a little noise he will get a lot of attention. His lack of ability on defense is annoying. I think his feet are too slow but he can still affect things enough with his size. The one thing I'm truly impressed with his is stamina. He plays hard runs the court and never gets tired. Even in overtime games he's max effort. This team is in good shape physically which is a plus come tourney time.
I tend to agree but the NBA drafts based on potential as much as anything else and @tirk makes some really good points about Reid's game improving over the course of the season. If he continues to improve I suspect he will go. Would love it if he doesn't but I'd put it at 80-20 right now. Waters is a man among boys right now. He gets his shot whenever he wants and that attribute alone makes him ready for the league imo. His size is an issue but there are others who have succeeded who were under six foot and if anyone can, Waters can.
Agreed. Naz seems to kind of come and go offensively. Against Georgia the other night he wasn't really a factor at all in the first half but he played like a man possessed in the second half. I've noticed this about him all year. He can score in bunches. He does seem a little slow afoot.
The announcer the other night had a good comparison for Reid in Boogie Cousins. He's not as strong as Cousins but the offensive skill is there for a guy that size. I'm actually surprised he doesn't get more attention with his size and skill set.
