With all that hype, I still don’t think we’re going to be taken seriously. We’ll be treated like an upstart against Tennessee, I expect the coverage to be a heavy Volunteer lean. Georgia has a NET of 128, FU is 40. If we couldn’t put UGA away, FU is probably going to be a bitch. The game @ UGA was ripe for a letdown after UK, but FU is tougher and right before Tennessee and after a likely bump up the rankings. So this game against FU is huge. Hope WW gets that across to the players. UK overlooked us for Tennessee, we don’t need to do the same with FU. So I guess that’s a long way to say I guess I kinda agree with you.
FYI, coach liked Smart’s technical: https://www.theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/sports/lsu/article_d796fac4-322d-11e9-b0db-2309e144c3f9.html
Do you not understand scheduling. One of the biggest regular season wins in our history followed by a 1-10 uga team on the road. We did exactly what we should have. Stay close and exert your talent 2h and get the win. You need to learn to be impressed with any road win. We are undefeated on the sec road. Better enjoy it we may never duplicate it.
I’m impressed when looking at the season as a whole. I also know home field in basketball actually means something. I also get that college kids are going to have lulls. Unfortunately, this game against FU fits the lull model, and FU is better than UGA. This game will probably be rough.
Also, the “controversial” win is as close to under the radar we can get with a win in Rupp, so kinda best of both worlds.
Great POV. Yes those blue bloods get all the talent, and then they have one year to do something with them because they don't usually stick around. I actually hope we can keep a lot of this group for one more year
