I’d take it; still an uphill climb, and really I don’t see anyone giving us enough respect for a 1 seed.
What’s the big picture? I like this team and I think they handle adversity pretty well. Three Q1 games left (6-2). One Q2 left (7-2). Two Q3 games left (8-0 Q3/Q4). I don’t see us getting a one seed unless we win the SECT and basically win out. But if we somehow do, that would be a hell of an accomplishment. I think we overcome the big head. Next up, FU this Wednesday. Should be a tough game, bet we have a good crowd.
Big picture for me is keep winning the games we're supposed to win. I was hoping for at least one win between Kentucky and Tenn which we already have. A win over Tenn would be icing on the cake. Do well in the SECT , get a respectable seed in March Madness and hope to make a good run. Anything better would be outstanding.
I don’t see a committee giving us a #1 for a very long time. Bias and other factors just won’t let them do it. Several Lsu teams will have to have deserving of it before they grant that honor on one LSU team. Saw somewhere during Georgia game that LSU will be a #4.
I agree, saw the same thing BUT just like the guy said during the broadcast, after beating the cats people are starting to take notice. Hell I was watching the Ky/Tenn game and THOSE guys were saying very good things about the Tigers. We are no longer under the radar. I prefer that we were
Darn, if we had just lost to Kentucky we’d still be under the radar, LOL. JK. I get what you’re saying. I’d prefer to be under the radar, too, but the Dukes and Kentucky’s and Kansas’ and Syracuse’s of the world have to deal with that shit week in and week out, year after year. If we want to be a program perennially in contention, we’ll have to overcome being a target. This team with these highly ranked HS guys are the one to set that foundation. They seem to be sound mentally regarding winning. Seems like we found our rotations, too. Playing well together, anticipating each other well.
