Rule 9, Section 15, article 2(a)(2). The ball was within the imaginary cylinder as it extends upward from the rim. It doesn't matter that the ball was "off the rim". Thats not the rule. That is wrong about CO but I wish I could hear his reaction.
Didn’t read thread and you might have said what I’m about to say but anyways...the entire ball has to be within the cylinder. If any part of the ball is outside the cylinder...meaning over the rim and outside the outer lip of the rim...it is a legal touch. The ball was both above the rim and a portion outside the cylinder. Basket counts and KY can eat tiger shit.
I read just the opposite, that if any part of the ball was over the cylinder. I’m not 100% sure and mostly poking in psych mod’s cage.
